ron adler
guitar/vocals
Ron Adler was born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. When he was 14 his stepfather gave him an old beat-up guitar. Ron was determined to learn to play that old guitar and practiced until he was good enough to play in local bands in and around Milwaukee which included a lot of polkas. He joined the Marine Corps at 19 and served in Vietnam where the only pickin’ he got to do was on his off time jamming with the guys in the barracks.
When he returned to the USA, he married and moved to Arizona. His musical desires had to be pursued on a limited basis due to the necessity of a day job to support his family. Ron did manage to play in some local bands around the Phoenix area. He became familiar with most genres, playing everything from Country, Old Time Rock N’ Roll and R&B; he even played with an Elvis tribute band.
Ron is now retired from the Peoria School District after 31 years and has more time to devote to his music. He has invested in pro gear and insists it be American made. Ron has played with many bands including one he organized on his own. He is a team player and loves the camaraderie of working with other musicians. His motto is, “Laugh a lot, play your best, and just have fun”.
